In recent years,India has experienced rapid economic development with the continuous deepening of economic reforms. The annual economic growth rate has remained the top two countries in the world for several consecutive years and has become the eighth largest economy in the world. While its economy has achieved rapid development, the country is still facing serious problem of poverty. The gap between poor and rich caused by historical and social factors has always been an unavoidable problem for Indian society. It has been in the list of the main agenda of most of the big political parties in the country, and it also has the largest number of poor people in the world, severe polarization between the rich and the poor, and prominent social inequality.Even though there are so many issues exists, the Indian society still maintained a relatively stable growth rate for a long time.Based on this situation,we concluded that India does have a "super-stable" pattern. This article focuses on India's social stability as the research theme.Based on an analysis of India's severe poverty problems and the disparity between the rich and the poor,we further understand the long-term reality that India can maintain social stability under the conditions of poverty and wealth differentiation and social inequality. To analyze the role played by the Indian caste system, religious culture, social security policy, and parliamentary democracy in maintaining social stability, and to point out the challenges faced by India today in maintaining stability, with a view to deepening the understanding of social stability in India. It is not easy for India to maintain its social stability in the long term.Because India's long-term social stability is maintained under the extreme polarization between the rich and the poor, with nearly 1/3 people living in the country below the poverty line, and the rich accounting for only one percent of the nation's almost sixty percent of the country's social wealth. Therefore, the reasons for maintaining the "super-stable" form of India are worthy of deep analysis. This paper explores the main reasons for this paradox, focusing on the long-term relative social stability in India from four aspects:caste system, religious culture, social security policy and parliamentary democracy.First of all.although the caste system contains negative factors that solidify the social status of the people,it cannot be ignored as a natural barrier to social stability in India.Besides.the religious culture of India has a profound impact on its people, almost everyone believes in religion, and religious ideas bind everyone, therefore,Christian culture can play a role in strengthening social stability. The third question of the paper studied India's social security, even though most people think the public order is weak in India,in fact, that's not the case. The security in India has a remarkable range covering almost all its citizens.Especially to the poor class, thus tightening the safety valve for social stability.Last but not least,India has established parliamentary democracy at the timing of the founding of the country. The election system of multi-party competition in the country strengthens the middle and lower class of all parties.Voters can also play a role in promoting social stability by participating in elections to ease political feelings. But there is no denying that the poverty problem and the polarization of social wealth in India is a caste conflict in India.India urgently needs to face up to the inequality of wealth and social status, and strive to narrow the gap between the rich and the poor, and build a more egalitarian society.Only in this way can its stable form be sustained.
