The wealth gap is an inevitable product of market economy, however, the income gap and polarization could not be the results of market reform. Based on the actual situation, narrowing the poverty gap, reducing the polarization degree, promoting the balanced development ofthe society, ensuring the safety of the country and boosting the social harmony and stability have become serious and urgent issues faced by our country during the process of further reform.Our poverty gap issues can be divided into district gap, urban and rural gap, industry gapand class gap. The excessive poverty gap brings negative effect to out society. Firstly, it canseriously damage the positivity and initiative of the public, lead to the loss of vigor of economic development, influence the healthy and sustainable development of social economy;Secondly, it can collapse the social cohesion, result in the unbalance of social class, give riseto criminal activities and affect the social stability and order. Poverty gap has become increasingly obvious and excessive, it has brought about wide attention to the society, the people of the whole country are eager to solve the excessive poverty gap issue and realize common prosperity, the party and country also formulate the related policy and regulations to resolve thisproblem. The following approaches can be adopted to sole the poverty gap issue, firstly, we should optimise the ownership structure, pay attention to the distribution and optimization of ownership structure and production factors of economic development; secondly, the solutions to reduce the poverty gap include optimization of percentage arrangement and control for different ownership enterprises in various industries, development of the middle class stability andsocial order, perfection of tax collection and related regulations, enhancement of the paymentfor fiscal transfer, promotion of reform and adjustment for monopoly industries, optimizationof construction for the social security system, all of the above mentioned can be the effectivesolutions to curb the excessive poverty gap.
