A Research On The Power Network Of Dong Society

The Gulou is the traditional architecture of Dong people,which is closely related to the material and spiritual life of Dong peoples and is the core embodiment of Dong culture.Gulou contains a very rich content,it is not only the real life of the local needs,but also the needs of the spiritual world of the villagers.Bapa Village is located in Congjiang County,Guizhou Province,a traditional Dong village,the Gulou as an important space,many activities and events have been staged around the Gulou,the division and operation of power in these events to be present,various power staggered existence and produced a different impact,it seems to be able to analyze the internal structure of the whole local society and its operating mechanism.Therefore,the author intends to use the field investigation method,based on the theory of power related to the study of the Gulou,in revealing the cultural characteristics of the Dong,at the same time,discuss the power in the local community operating mechanism,in order to the Dong Society's power network structure in-depth analysis,in order to enrich the theoretical connotation of power,to achieve theoretical and practical dialogue.The study shows that Gulou,as the coupling body of Dong nationality's social relations,it shows the natural environment,ethnic relations and historical process of the Dong Society,its rich cultural connotations make it represent a kind of authority in itself,and these cultures accumulate in the process of the development and intercourse of the Dong's social history,and finally make the drum tower not only the entity of power,it is the existence of authority in people's thought and even belief.The Gulou from the concept to completion,the State,civil society organizations,families and individuals are in different ways to exercise power.In recent years,because of the infiltration of state power to break the traditional local social pattern,the current local social authority structure presents a pluralistic governance pattern,on the surface,the informal power of local society is slowly weakened,the formal power gradually affects the daily life of villagers,but in fact,Informal power continues to function in another,more secretive way,leading to a situation in which formal power and informal power are common.In this power network,the different elites in their position are in possession of more power than others.However,this does not mean that ordinary villagers can only be controlled by the power of the object,power as a relationship,it makes the power of the people at the same time is the implementation of power,everyone in the exercise of their own power to create a dominant or recessive influence.The non-subjectivity of power is embodied in the Division of power in Bapa village,it is running all the times,forming a network of power in the local society,in the center of the Gulou,the state,local society and individuals in the local cultural network through the operation of different powers to achieve the balance of interests and power,to ensure the harmonious and stable development of local society.This paper studies the drum tower from the angle of power,in order to explore the power network structure and its operating mechanism of the whole local society,it is a new attempt to study the Gulou of Dong,because the author's knowledge is limited,this article is not thorough enough,but still hope that his research can provide a new horizon for the study of Dong Gulou.
