Research On Government Behavior In Employment Promotion Of College Students In Quanzhou City

With the rapid development of China's economy and the increasing demand for talents,the number of excellent talents is far from enough.Under this circumstance,our nation has carried out universal access to higher education and the enlargement of enrollment scale.As a result,the number of fresh graduates is increasing year by year.Meanwhile,our country is in the important period of economic structure transformation and the employment situation is not optimistic,so the university students' employment problem is gradually taken seriously by the society.As the backbone of the socialist modernization construction of the motherland and the most important reserve basis of the human resources,how to arrange the university students to maximize the advantages of them becomes the urgent problem that the government needs to solve.Although the government has taken a series of actions for the employment of university graduates,such as Selected Graduates System,College-graduate Village Officials and Entrepreneurship Support Polices.To some extent,those polices has eased the difficult situation of graduates employment and alleviated the problems of social contradictions.However,due to the imperfection of policy system and the lack of supervision in the implementation process,the government policy has not achieved satisfactory results.Based on this,this paper intends to explore how to solve the problem of Quanzhou colleges students' employment by means of empirical research from the perspective of government.This article is aimed to explore the Government's work in promoting university students' employment.Besides,this article will proceed on the basis of the Keynes employment theory,the market failure and the government intervention theory.I took six universities in Quanzhou as the research object,and have a better understanding of the results achieved and the existing problems and causes on the road to promoting the employment of university students.Base on the previous research of home and abroad,this article also puts forwards some corresponding measures in the hope of helping solve the difficult graduates' employment problem.At last from the perspective of government,the paper presents the following five measures to optimize the policy design,enlarge the policy propaganda;enlarge the macro-control to enhance the employment demand;perfect the employment service for university students;relax the preferential policies to encourage the students to start their own business;strengthen the Government's supervision function to ensure the policy implementation...
