Study On The Interaction Between Canadian Chinese Associations And Sino-Canadian Relations Since 1970

As one of the three pillars of the overseas Chinese community,the Chinese community has long been a loyal defender of the rights and interests of overseas Chinese and a spokesman for overseas Chinese and Chinese society and plays an important role in the relations between China and foreign countries.Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Canada,the Chinese community in Canada has been constantly active in the stage of external exchanges between the two countries and made indelible contributions to the friendly development of the relations between the two countries.Based on the general situation of Chinese immigrants in Canada,the development of Chinese associations and the development of bilateral relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Canada,this paper focuses on the positive influence and limitations of Canadian Chinese associations in Sino-Canadian relations since 1970,as well as their respective causes.And the impact of the development of Sino-Canadian relations on Canadian Chinese associations since the beginning of this period.Taking Canadian Association of Chinese Associations as an example,China-Canada relations,and then concluded that in trying to tap the influence of the Canadian Chinese community on the Sino-Canadian relations to tap the potential of the Chinese community in Canada,through the activities of social organizations to further enhance their influence in Canada and increase their Social status,better disseminate Chinese culture,make contributions to further promoting the development of China-Canada relations,and also make recommendations to our government on doing well the overseas Chinese affairs in the new period.Finally,it will play a greater role in the Sino-Canadian relations and the future Chinese community in Canada.The Sino-Canadian relations and Canada's China policy have determined the development of Canadian Chinese associations macroscopically,while Canadian Chinese associations have influenced China-Canada relations from a microcosmic,and the two complement each other.In the future,as the relations between China and Canada deepen,the Chinese community in Canada will release more potential in promoting the development of China-Canada relations.
