A Study On Mao Zedong's Ideological Construction Of The Governing Party At The Beginning Of The Founding Of New China

The initial period of the founding of New China was a critical period after the CPC was transformed from a revolutionary party to a ruling party.Mao Zedong,as the collective leadership of the first generation,had to deal with the new problems and challenges it faced,and insisted on using Marxist party building theory to guide the construction of the ruling party.It laid the foundation for the final formation of Mao Zedong's ruling party building ideological and scientific system to combine the actual situation in the early days of the founding of New China and explore the development of the theory and practice of the construction of the ruling party.For the building of the ruling party,Mao Zedong attached great importance to its ideological construction which was put in the first place at all time.He believed that self-construction,such as manners,organizations couldn't be overemphasized,and taking the mass line as standard,persisting in carrying out criticism and democratic supervision,turning the party into a Marxist ruling party that has always been at the forefront of the times had provided vital enlightenment for realizing Chinese dreams,that is,the great rejuvenation of our nation.The first part of the essay is the introduction,which talks about the background and meaning regarding this topic,the general situation of research at home and abroad,and the research methods and innovations.The second part is the body of the essay.It consists of four chapters.The second chapter mainly discusses the current situation of Mao Zedong's strengthening of the ruling party's ideological construction at the beginning of the founding of New China: the domestic environment confronted was one aspect,including the challenge of the transformation from the revolutionary party to the ruling party,the shifting focus of the ruling party from the countryside to the city when it came to the economic recovery and people's new expectations of the ruling party;the international environment was the other hand,including the threat from the U.S.-led Western countries as well as the influence of humiliating history on the diplomacy of New China.The third chapter sorts out the main contents of Mao Zedong's strengthening the ideological construction of the ruling party at the beginning of the founding of New China: through the urgent analysis of the ruling party's ideological construction as well as its present situation,its leading role was shown in the construction of the ruling party;it's about time to put forward the fundamental tasks,strengthen the guiding position of Marxist theory and the party's sense of governance,consolidate ideas to enhance the ability to govern,reinforce the theoretical study to arm our mind;we need to strengthen the punishment of corruption so as to manage the party strictly,and carry out criticism and self-criticism through the rectification movement to strengthen the practical ways of democratic supervision,in order to strengthen the ideological construction of the ruling party.The fourth chapter generalizes two characteristics of Mao Zedong's strengthening of the ruling party's ideological construction during the early years of the founding of New China.It began with taking self-construction as the main point;working style construction and organizational construction were supplementary to each other to improve the purity and advancement of the party members' ideological style;the mass route was taken as the standard principles,and it always concerned about its members,served them wholeheartedly taking their interest into account;and played a vanguard and exemplary role of party members.In a word,this is the core content of this essay.Chapter five summarizes the enlightenment of Mao Zedong's strengthening the ideological construction of the ruling party in the early days of the founding of New China,including three aspects: adhering to the correct guidance of Marxism;unceasingly improving the ideological quality of party members and enhancing leadership;strengthening democratic supervision within and beyond the party;adhering to and developing the ideological road of seeking truth from facts.
