Towards The "Shared Block"

The traditional urban spatial production takes “capital – power” as the dominant logic.The rapid development of Chinese urbanization has benefited from this logic.However,the spatial development has appeared imbalances,especially urban public space tends to be narrowing.At present,the government has entered a new era and puts forward the goal of a better life.Urban spatial governance should adjust to the situation.As one of the paths for the reproduction of urban public space,the evolution of the urban blocks in China contains sharing value.Researches have shown “shared block” is concerned continuously,and has accumulated some experiences in practices.It can be seen that the concept of “sharing” applied to the field of space,which better adapts to the current spatial governance appeal,and will lead to the transformation of urban governance and the change in urban life.The general researches on “shared block” lack more clearly concept interpretation,conclusions of practice and governance improvement.So this study aims to search for those problems by the text analysis method.“Shared block” do not stop at the opening spatial boundaries,but also focus on sharing resources and public services for urban rights maintenance and humanism achievement.Based on the perspective of spatial production theory,this study constructs an analytical framework of "shared blocks" encountering spatial conflicts with three dimensions of value,interest and risk.The reason is that there is a conflict between interest group and ordinary people.The spatial conflict reflects the differences of the identity among the subjects,further influences the urban public spatial reproduction facing governance dilemmas,including morality,interest protecting system,and management these three levels.The study thinks that “shared block” enhance "sharing" to the height of urban spatial strategy,and provide important inspiration for optimizing urban spatial quality and building a better life.To make “shared block” better,we need to consolidate policy consensus,improve the mechanism of interest compensation and risk mitigation,in the meanwhile building a cooperative governance structure,as well as innovating the technological means.
