The research object of this study is "political precepts",based on the tradition of Greek political philosophy, the paper tries to understand the strategy and direction of Plutarch's political suggestion, analyzes the relationship between the political purpose, virtue and skill, probes into Plutarch's attitude towards politics and the reasons for its practice. As a background,Rome is not the first concern of the text, but it is the basis of text analysis, and directly related to Plutarch's discussion of political purpose, skills. Therefore, this paper will still focus on the issues of Rome and political morality, purpose and skills. The general structure of follows to the order of the text, slightly adjusted. The first chapter is the introduction, which discusses a pair of tensional views in traditional political philosophy and indicates that Plutarch tends to emphasize the significance of politics. To understand this particular perspective of Plutarch, requires an understanding of the Plutarch and his era. So,the Roman domination of Greece and all ethnic groups constitute the background of the issue of the discussion. The second chapter discusses Plutarch's position and potential concerns and points out his writing and didactic strategies in this paper.Plutarch, who is familiar with the ancient Greek tradition of literature and history, has shown his concern since the introduction of Homer's epic,in which he has paid more attention to the politicians' transformation of God's blessings into reality and making it truly available to the public. The third chapter discusses the political purpose and the growth path.Political participation should aim at politics itself, not fame and power. From his perspective, affected by passion and impulsiveness, desperate to plunge into the political vortex,it seems to be dangerous, making major decisions requires prudence and reason. The path of prominence and moderation have their own advantages and disadvantages, and in the process of politician's growth, they should choose the appropriate path according to their own conditions. It is clear that the path of eminence is limited, but Plutarch still elaborates on his educational strategy: giving open choices instead of fixed correct answers and giving more autonomy to the recipients. The fourth chapter discusses five questions, each of which in fact can be subdivided, but interrelated.People and speeches, friends and political opponents, affairs and strategies, ambition and honor, housekeeping and expenditure, although not covering all aspects of political life,it includes the main aspects of political life and basic components. In the discourse of this chapter, virtue is in fact a dominant role in reality or on the surface, and different politicians have different virtues,so their words and deeds and states have their own characteristics of virtue in the face of specific affairs. In the fifth chapter, the author analyzes Plutarch's views on political virtue, artistry and political aims, and the similarities and differences between Plutarch and Platonism from the view of the classical theory of natural rights and focuses on the perspective chosen by Plutarch based on the background of Roman.Plutarch did not oppose the classical theory of natural power, but his era showed him that only better politics could stop internal strife and disputes, maintain peace, free his people from slavery and destruction, and make it possible for the best to be achieved in the natural order. So,he emphasized the importance of politics. On the basis of the discussion in chapter 5,Plutarch's expectations of Greek politicians, and his advice on how to get along with Rome and deal with his own internal affairs, chapter 6 discusses how Greek politicians get along with Rome, based on the reality of which political skills and virtues should be concerned first. This chapter highlights the dangers of a party and internal strife. The last chapter concludes with a continuation of the position in Chapter 5,clarifying Plutarch's attitude towards politics and its art.It regards political action and practice as concrete works.Only the political actions that have been achieved are real, otherwise are not work.
