Research On The Cause Of The Establishment Of Germany's Manufacturing Industry After World War ?

The manufacturing industry of Federal Republic of Germany recovered quickly and developed rapidly after the World War II and created the “economic miracle” which surprised the world in 1950 s and 1960 s.Through developing manufacturing industry,Federal Republic of Germany not only accomplished German unification,but also became “the core of the core” in the European Union after the financial crisis.Under the current trend of a revolutionary international environment and the development of manufacturing industries,it is of great and practical significance to study the reasons why Germany insists establishing the country through developing manufacturing industries after the WW?.First of all,this paper used historical research method,qualitative analysis method and quantitative analysis method to summarize the key developmental industries of Germany according to a leading industry theory.The overall development of German manufacturing industry was divided into four phases: the preparatory phase before two industrial revolutions,the take-off phase during two industrial revolution,the war-based deformity phase,the rapid recovery and steady development phase after World War II.Before World War II,Germany became a great power in the world who intensively developed mechanical manufacturing and chemical industry in the period of two industrial revolutions.But during the two world wars,Germany devoted most of its resources to its armament manufacturing industry,leading to an extremely unbalanced development of the industries.After the defeat,it lost its leading position in manufacturing industry and its economic and political autonomy.After World War II,in a changing international society,the Federal Republic of Germany upgraded its manufacturing industry,which experienced stages of reconstruction,recovery,sustained prosperity,adjustment of recession,and “intellectual development”.Not only did it achieve economic recovery and national reunification,it also steadily stepped to a great political power through the up-grade.It is known that the manufacturing industry is also an important section for China to participate in international competition.At present,China is experiencing a critical period of transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry,and now China is being committed to shifting economic development mode from extensive economic growth to intensive economic growth.So,through the analysis of Germany manufacturing industry development,China should learn to catch the opportunity to upgrade the industry in this changeable international society.China should develop emerging industry strategically according to our current conditions,keep the balance between traditional manufacturing industry and emerging strategic industries,and the adjustment of the relationship among the government,industry and enterprises needs to be made in order to promote the transformation and upgrading of China manufacturing industry.
