A Study On The Farmers' Political Participation Under The Situation Of Building A Harmonious Society

One of the important tasks in the process of the development of Chinese Socialism is the building of socialist harmonious society.Democracy and the rule of law is the demand and characteristic of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Farmers' political participation is one of the steps and the demand of the building of harmonious society.In this paper,the author mainly focuses on the political participation of farmers in the new period under the theoretical basis of Marxism theory.The discussion of the theory and practice of the theoretical basis,main methods,trends and possible solution of farmers' political participation from the practical Chinese political development will serve as the base of the building of Chinese harmonious society.It would also help the exploration of the direction and regulation of farmers' political participation under the current environment.The paper first talks about the definition and related theories of political participation in current China,including the meaning and social influence of political participation and the main methods and pattern of it in the practical political life.Secondly,the author uses the theory of political participation in Marxism as the theoretical basis for farmers' political life and includes the participation of farmers as one of the problems of Marxism in China.Next,the paper deals with the political participation of farmers in the building of a harmonious society in detail,emphasizing the difficulties and the main reasons for the problems,mainly from the three aspects of the limit of Chinese farmers,the unbalanced development of urban and rural areas and Chinese macro political development.Finally,based on the existing problems and the main reasons,the author gives his advice from the three aspects of economic development,social political development and the education of Chinese farmers.Specifically,the paper emphasizes the fundamental function of economic development in improving technology and education in China.Then,from the aspect ofsocial politics,the author gives advice on the improvement of current political policies on farmers' political participation.Finally,from the aspect of education,the paper points to the importance of the propaganda of political participation among farmers and the improvement of cultural and education infrastructure.
