The Study On The Role Of Social Organizations In Helping Children In Difficulty

Whether children in difficulty are effectively protected not only concerns the harmony and tranquility of thousands of families,but also concerns the long-term development of the country.At present,although relevant policy is being constantly revised and improved,under the current children's welfare policy,relying solely on the government to provide assistance to children in difficulty cannot meet their diversified needs.Part of the children in difficulty are still facing a lot of problems,such as living in poverty,learning distress,lack of family affection,and security problems.In recent years,the vigorous development of various social organizations has provided new way in solving social problems,and has played an active role in helping children in difficulty which makes up the market failure and the government failure.However,from a macro perspective,intensive research has not been carry out in how to make the operation mode of social organizations more scientific and effective in taking part in the protecting of the children in difficulty.Therefore,this paper have an in-depth analysis of this problem on the case of Sishui Mini-Welfare Organization,trying to explore the countermeasures to solve the problem.The paper takes the case of Sishui Mini-Welfare Organization for example,using literature research,case analysis and interview method to explore the necessity for social organizations to participate in the protection of children in difficulty,explores the necessity of social organizations participating in the help of children in difficulty and summarizes the way on how to improve the role of social organizations participating in the help of children in difficulty.First of all,the paper analyzes the domestic and international studies of social organizations and also the relevant theories.Secondly,it analyzes the necessity of social organizations to participate in helping the children in difficulty,as well as the current situation and existing problems of the helping of children in difficulty in China,and analyzes the advantages,opportunities,risks and challenges of social organizations to participate in helping children in difficulty one by one.Thirdly,in the case study of Sishui Mini-Welfare Organization,the paper sorts out its establishment background,organizational structure,operating mode,the cooperation with the government and society,and also their achievements.Finally,drawing on the advanced experience of other social organizations at home and abroad,this paper improves the role of social organizations in helping children in difficulty from three aspects:improving the cooperative relationship with the government,improving the self-construction of social organizations,and attracting more social resources.
