A Study On The Practice And Mode Of Caring For Left-behind Children Project Of Charitable Organization S In Shaanxi Province

In the critical period of children’s growth,left-behind children without parents’ guidance lack the emotional care,which will have a certain impact on their world view,philosophy and view of value.Some children will have cognitive behavior and value disorders,abnormal personality and psychological development,while some others become strong and brave.Left-behind children’s education level,mental health and life environment are also the focus of social concern.Governments at all levels and people from all walks of life have also given unlimited care to the left-behind children and make efforts to help them change the current situation.Solving the problem of left-behind children in rural areas is one of the most important tasks of our society.At present,the main ways to solve the problem are the government’s purchase of services from social organizations,charity organizations’ children caring programs,the establishment of left-behind children’s service organizations and so on.This article takes S Charity Organization’s “Caring for Children’s Home” project carried out in 2017 in Shanxi Province as an example.Based on the existing theoretical and practical exploration at home and abroad,and supported by Ecological Systems Theory and Social Support Network Theory,this paper introduces the structure and characteristics of the “CSS”(School Management and Social Participation)model in the “Caring Children’s Home” project.Using participatory observation and unstructured interviews to present the relationship of participating organizations,schools and charity organizations,and it is analyzed that there is a lack of effective supervision of S Charity Organizations,lack of professional skills of school partners and large mobility of volunteers.From the perspective of project implementation,basic project cooperation,project implementation and government suggestions for improving the "CSS" model.It is hoped that through the improvement of the model,the follow-up project of the “Caring for Children” project will be carried out better and healthily and orderly.At the same time,the project will be promoted more widely in other provinces in China,serving more left-behind children and caring for them.Growth,better solve the problem of left-behind children in Shaanxi Province.
