In contemporary times,China's higher education is becoming more and more po pular,and the status of colleges and universities in society is gradually becoming mor e prominent.The stability and development of colleges and universities is an importan t part of building a harmonious socialist society.With the continuous development of university system reform and the rapid development of social economy,the internal a nd external environment has changed greatly.The age of college students is generally l ow,and it is easy to be impulsive,and the number of people entering and leaving colle ges is complicated.The frequency of emergencies is gradually increasing,and the imp act is very serious.Through the legal definition and current situation interpretation of college emerg encies,combined with specific case analysis,it is found that there are many problems in the emergency response of colleges and universities to emergencies.The legal emer gency response work of colleges and universities in China is not timely,the legal conc ept of emergency management is outdated,the legal education is not in place,and the rights relief system is missing.The main reason is that the state's laws and regulations on college emergencies are imperfect,the legal security awareness of colleges and un iversities is not strong,the main body of emergency management is unknown,and the legal management system is incomplete.In order to optimize the legal response mech anism of college emergencies,it is necessary to strengthen the legislation on the emer gencies of colleges and universities in China,to construct a legal prevention mechanis m and to improve the legal system of emergency management in colleges and universi ties.
