The Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence are the positive response of New China to the existing international legal environment,and also China's ideas of international law,which New China has development,and laid a foundation for the international legal position of New China.It served as the guiding principle of Chinese external relations for following decades.The concept of a Community with a shared future for mankind is a scientific theory with high perspecti-ve and rich connotation in the present historical period.It depicts a bright future of the human world and further demonstrates China's international legal position in the era of globalization.The concept of a Community with a shared future for mankind is closely related to the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence.After the Five Principles were proposed,considering the development and changes of the international political and economic situation,the Chinese Government put forward a series of new ideas of international law and order,such as promoting the establishment of a new international political and economic order,a new security concept and a harmonious world.This is the continuous positive interaction between the Chinese Government and the international legal order.The concept of a Community with a shared future for mankind was formed and put forward on the basis of these theories and practices.The Community with a shared future for mankind have a high degree of consistency in origin,purpose and basis with the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence.It has made of Peaceful Coexistence have made positive contributions in adjusting the international legal order,and pioneered a new mode of coexistence among nations,of which the proposal of the diplomatic policy"Seeking Sameness But Keeping Difference"and the rise of the"Non-Aligned Movement"both are the most direct evidences;they are the cornerstone of a good international legal order,which have enriched the system of principles of international law and revitalized the concept of the post-war international legal order;they have also consolidated the organizational and institutional basis of the post-war international legal order.Its content has not only been absorbed by many bilateral agreements,international organizations and United Nations resolutions,but also restricted the behavior of many countries and international organizations.Its legal connotation has been constantly developing in the interaction of international relations.However,since the 21st century,with the continuous and rapid advancement of globalization,multi-polarization and informatization,the international situation has been complex,and international law which takes the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence as its core principles has encountered many development difficulties in present international community.On the one hand,international law itself has such problems as unbalanced power structure,doubtful legitimacy and unsystematic etc.On the other hand,the theoretical position of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence is limited by the background when they were put forward,and as a result,it has failed to focus on the overall interests of mankind and not corresponded closely to the development situation and needs of the world.At the same time,the contents of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence have been challenged objectively.For example,the principles of sovereignty,non-interference in internal affairs have been undermined by hegemonism,power consistent image of a"responsible big country",and contribute to the continuous optimization of the international rule-by-law environment and the constant enrichment of the international rule-by-law atmosphere.In the future,China will continue to play an increasingly important role in international politics,economy,rule of law,civilization and ecology.
