Study On The National Identity Of Xibo Nationality In Songyuan City

National identity is the result of the interaction between historical facts and subjective attribution.Under the historical evolution and the construction of reality,national ide ntity has certain variabilities,reflecting the implicit and dominant characteristics of na tional identity.In China,national identity should contain two levels of meaning.First,the national identity of each nation.The higher level is the recognition of the Chinese nation by the various nationalities.These two levels reflect the dialectical relationshi p between pluralism and integration.This paper takes the Xibo nationality in Songyua n City as the research object,and takes the ethnic identity of this group as the research center.From the three dimensions of national history,ethnology and national theory,this paper explores the characteristics of the Xibo nationality in Songyuan City and th e reasons for these characteristics.Taking the national identity of Xibo nationality in Songyuan as the content,this paper demonstrates the relationship between "evolution theory" and "construction theory" on the level of national theory.Thus,further explai ned why that China's national theory transcends these two theories and is in line with t he actual conditions of our multi-ethnic countries.This paper firstly takes the history of the Xibo people in Songyuan as the context,and tells the characteristics of the natio nal identity of the Xibo people in Songyuan City and concrete practice to the Chinese nation through the relationship between the Xibo people in Songyuan City and differe nt ethnic groups in different historical periods;Combine historical and field investigations to analyze the causes behind these charact eristics and national psychology;Then leads to the debate between the national identit y theories.After comparison,I believe that the "evolution theory" and "construction th eory" of national identity cannot be completely opposite,one or the other,and the two should learn from each other.China's national theory is not equal to "evolution theor y" or "construction theory",but as a national theory that conforms to the actual dialect ical unity.
