Based on the framing theory, this thesis examines the framing of anti-terroristic direction within Shanghai Cooperation Organization(SCO)by government media of Russia and China, represented by Rossiiskaya gazeta and China Daily(Russia)during the period from 2007 to 2017.The research offers a new and alternative vision on framing SCO anti-terroristic direction as all the previous publications did not study it from the perspective of Chinese and Russian government newspapers. Results demonstrated that two newspapers have relatively low publishing rate about SCO anti-terroristic cooperation. However all state that SCO is not a military organization. It is actively engaged in strengthening security on the international and regional level.SCO pays much attention on fighting against terrorism, separatism and extremism. This is confirmed by the periodic anti-terrorist exercises called "Peace mission",which firstly were held in 2007.Rossiiskaya gazeta and China Daily(Russia)write about the threat from the third countries, such as Afghanistan(due to its borders)and the USA(due to its position in Asia-pacific region)and SCO ability to use its knowledge gained in anti-terroristic exercises in case of any danger from the other states.
