Analysis On The Anti-Terrorism Cooperation Between China And Russia Since 21^st Century

As a manifestation of human conflict,terrorism has a very long history,which can be traced back to the ancient Greek and Roman periods.After the "September 11 attacks",violent terrorist attacks in the world become more frequent.At the same time,"terrorism" as a trend of thought has brought a wave around the world,and the frequency of the use of the word "terrorism" has also increased.China is the world's largest developing country,and Russia is one of the world's big power.The cooperation between the two countries in anti-terrorism is not only conducive to safeguarding their own sovereignty and territorial integrity,but also has great significance for its surrounding areas and the entire international community.On June 5,2019,China and Russia decided to upgrade the relationship between the two countries to a comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era.Based on this new positioning,China and Russia will developing more cooperation,and anti-terrorism is one of the most important areas of the cooperation between China and Russia.Therefore,the research of the anti-terrorism between China and Russia has important historical and practical significance.This article uses historical research method and comparative analysis method to conduct a comprehensive analysis on the anti-terrorism cooperation between China and Russia since 21st century.At present,terrorism is spreading greatly in the international arena,and the consequences of terrorist activities become more serious due to the combination with modern means.These are the reasons for every countries including China and Russia to do something to fight against terrorism.At the same time,the comprehensive development of China-Russian bilateral relations,the increased degree of political mutual trust,and the wide-ranging economic and trade cooperation---all these factors have provided a firm foundation for China and Russia to gain more cooperation in anti-terrorism area.Affected by domestic and international factors,China and Russia have established a counter-terrorism cooperation system and gained some achievements.These achievements are beneficial to China and Russia's security,political and economic areas.After view about the cooperation between China and Russia in anti-terrorism,we can found that there still have some aspects to be improved---China and Russia should strengthen bilateral information exchange,create scientific application to help them in anti-terrorism,help other members in United Nations and SCO to improve their anti-terrorism ability,and ultimately establishing the international united front to against terrorism.All these methods will help China and Russia better respond to the threats and challenges which are caused by terrorism.
