Research On Social Governance Thought In The New Era

The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that the main contradiction in China has been transformed from "the contradiction between the growing material and cultural demands of the people and the backward social production" to "the contradiction between the growing demands of the people's better life and the imbalanced and inadequate development." He also put forward that the people not only have higher requirements for material and cultural life,but also have increasingly demand in terms of democracy,rule of law,fairness,justice,security and environment and so forth.In order to respond to the new demands of the people for a better life and to resolve new social contradictions,the report of the 19 th National Congress proposed to strengthen and innovate social governance.Therefore,it is of great practical significance and value to have a study on the social governance thought in new era.This paper is mainly composed of three parts: The first part is the background and theoretical basis of the social governance thought in new era,which is based on the current fundamental reality of China.Its theoretical basis mainly comes from the following: governance thoughts in China excellent traditional culture,the Marxist classic writers and the Chinese Communists' social management thoughts,and useful experience in the Western social governance theory.The second part focuses on the demonstrating and analyzing the main content of social governance thought in new era,which includes three aspects: First,adhere to the principle of centering on the people,and improve social governance;Second,adhere to the principle of governance according to law and innovative social governance system;Third,ensure safety as the bottom line and firmly establish overall awareness.The third part is the basic characteristics and time value of social governance thought in new era.Through the study on the main content of the second part of social governance thought in new era,the main characteristics are summarized;in addition,combined with the development of China society,the era value of social governance though in new era is summarized.At present,China socialist development has entered a new era,and modernization has stepped on a new journey.It cannot be ignored that China society still has real problems such as people's livelihood,public security and social justice waiting to be solved,social governance innovative in new era has provided important guiding significance for safeguarding and improving people's livelihood in the new era,maintaining social fairness and justice,and promoting social harmony and stability.
