Research On The Creation Of Ethnic Unity And Progress In Ethnic Inter-embedded Communities

Kaili is the capital city of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Minority Autonomous Prefecture in Guizhou Province.Since its establishment in 1984,Kaili has been a county-level city with Miao minority as the main body and multi-ethnic groups living together.Kaili has experienced three important social demographic changes,with a large number of people moving in and out each time.With the deepening of reform and opening up and the rapid development of economy and society,a large number of ethnic minorities flow into Kaili for job-hunting,education and medical treatment,which has brought about new changes in the local ethnic relations,especially in the residential pattern,living conditions,production and lifestyle of ethnic groups in the communities,as well as the forms of communication and integration among ethnic groups In the face of this series of new phenomena,Kaili municipal government has always attached importance to national unity and social stability.Guided by the demonstration work,with the theme of "all ethnic groups working together for common prosperity and development",and with the main line of "building a well-off society at the same time,ethnic unity,and social harmony",we will actively solve the outstanding problems of the floating population,build an inter embedded community of urban ethnic groups,and create demonstration units,towns,and communities(villages)of ethnic unity and progress In the new era,Kaili's ethnic work should focus on the healthy development of urban ethnic relations.In 2016,Kaili won the national demonstration city of national unity and progress.This paper takes Wanxi Street community of Kail in Qiandongnan Prefecture as the research object.This paper goes into each community(Village)as a community volunteer,and goes deep into each community through in-depth interviews with community residents,community workers,community migrants,etc.This paper specifically investigates the work of building national unity and progress in these inter embedded communities,mainly including the current situation of development,the formation process,the successful experience and the shortcomings.This paper makes a horizontal description from three aspects: the cultural construction of Wanxi community,the renovation of community living environment and the community service management.On this basis,it summarizes the practical experience that can be referred in the creation of communities,and dialectically analyzes the shortcomings that still exist in the creation of communities.Finally,it further sorts out the inspiration of Wanxi Street Community in the construction of national unity and progress,that is,in the construction of Wanxi street,it attaches importance to the development of community service management,adopts the working mode of "people's diary" and community people's heart to heart,and does a good job in the management of floating population;in the aspect of improving the self-management of community people,it explores the "community owner" Based on the new idea of community residents' self-management,the Committee has established a three-level volunteer service platform to improve the level of community service;while paying attention to the talent cultivation of Community Ethnic working team,it has continuously improved the construction of community volunteer service team,guided and mobilized the community to participate in the creation of the community,and continuously improved the sense of community participation of all ethnic groups.
