With the development of the economy, information exchange has become more and more convenient, and people can follow events happening in the country and the world through the Internet in real time.People can participate in some events while following the events they interested in via internet. As Children are the focus of social attention, every event related to children will quickly gather the attention of the public. From the case of the "Car theft and infanticide" in Changchun in 2017 to the recent "Missing boy"in Yueqing, every case has aroused widespread public concern, and even a large number of enthusiastic public participated in the searching of these cases.Whether it is an emergency searching for a sudden missing child or a non?emergency searching for a missing child who was previously unable to rescue due to conditional limitations,it can use the Internet and other platforms to release messages to the public to collect clues to improve search effectiveness. There are limits on the publication of information of missing children on various media such as television and microblogs. The relevant information of missing children needs to be screened so that the public can quickly obtain relevant features of missing children and assist relevant searchers to provide clues or search. This paper finds that the success rate of non-emergency searching for missing children based on the baby home website is lower, and the success rate of emergency searching for missing children based on the "Tuan yuan" system is as high as 95%.What is the difference between successful and unsuccessful cases in the non-emergency search process? What are the characteristics of the current emergency search for missing children?Motivated from these two questions, this paper studies the impact of different information on the search results of missing children and discusses how to improve the problem of children's disappearance.A logistic regression model was developed on the data summarized from 500 succeed cases and 500 cases which have not succeed yet from BBHNet to determine the crucial information in the process of searching missing children. The model identifies that the differences in terms of released information, number of children, address, and natural geographical features are the three most crucial factors that cause differences in the result of searching. Also, this paper analyzes the cases of emergency searching through the"Tuan yuan"system, and finds that the current children's disappearance is mainly due to intentional missing, children runaway accounted for the largest proportion of these cases.Currently, mainly deriving factors for children missing are Parent-Child contradictions and school work pressure.Only a few cases are criminal cases,in which the missing children faces threat.Based on an analysis of the current emergency search for missing children, this paper provides targeted recommendations for preventing child disappearance.
