Research On The Legal Protection Mechanism Of Rural Grassroots Consultative Democracy

As a product of Chinese democratic practice,rural grassroots consultative democracy is of great significance for promoting and improving the socialist consultative democracy system.In the construction of grassroots democracy,to promote the rural grassroots consultative democracy system plays a significant role.At present,the construction of rural grassroots consultative democracy under the rule of law lags behind,and it's insufficient too.Causing in the inability of some consultative subjects to express their interest demands.Many issues still exist in China's construction of rural grassroots consultative democracy,for example,villagers' democratic rights are not adequately protected during their participation in the consultative democracy,the cost is too high to protect their rights in accordance with laws,and consultation results are hard to transform.Causes of these issues lie in insufficient attention from consultative democracy subjects,inadequate legal education which is spread in rural area and lack of effective supervision of rural grassroots consultative democracy.In order to effectively protect the democratic rights of villagers in the process of participating in the national consultative process at the grassroots level in rural areas,protect the collective interests of villages and enable the consultative democratic system at the grassroots level to play the role of safeguarding the people's right to democratic participation.Therefore,it is suggested to adopt various approaches such as improving the legislation of rural grassroots consultative democracy,strengthening the construction of judicial safeguard mechanism of rural grassroots consultative democracy,improving the disputes settlement mechanism,improving the consultative sense and ability from rural consultative democracy subjects in accordance with law,and making the legal supervision mechanism ofrural grassroots consultative democracy more complete,to construct legal protection routes for rural grassroots consultative democracy rights,and realize an organic unification of the initiative and innovative exploration in practice and legal and stable consultative behaviors of grassroots consultative democracy.
