In the report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,adherence to the rule of law in an all-round way will be established as one of the important contents of the basic strategy of adhering to and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,and a comprehensive plan will be made to deepen the practice of ruling the country by law.General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward a series of new propositions and conclusions on the construction of the rule of law,which has gradually bred into a new thought on the road of building socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics,namely Xi Jinping's thought of rule of law and It is a new theoretical achievement of the localization of Marxism in China.This paper mainly carries on the exploratory research to Xi Jinping's rule of law thought from five aspects,and emphatically explains the main content of Xi Jinping's rule of law thought.In the first part,this paper combs the background of the formation of Xi Jinping's thought of rule of law,analyses it from the international and domestic backgrounds,and explores the realistic basis for its formation and development.The second part explores the theoretical origin of Xi Jinping's thought of rule of law.The rule of law in the modern sense was born in the western countries.Our country's modernization of the rule of law has drawn lessons from it and combined with the actual situation of our country.At the same time,the thought of rule of law of our leaders in past dynasties and the development of rule of law in our traditional culture also play important roles in the process of rule of law in our country.This paper makes an exploratory analysis of the main contents of Xi Jinping's thought of rule of law,and divides it into five aspects: first,Taking a well-conceived approach to lawmaking.In the new era,the formulation of laws should focus on keeping pace with the times,improving the quality of laws and making up for the gaps in laws.Second,Ensureing that law is strictly enforced.When law plays its role,law has its life.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that governing according to constitution,governing according to law and safeguarding the authority of law.Third,Justice is administered impartially.We should make the people feel the fairness and justice of the judiciary and adhere to the principle of judicial work for the people.The trust of the broad masses is an important principle of judicial work.General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasizes the implementation of judicial reform and the construction of a healthy and orderly legal environment.Fourth,the law is observed by all.The new era advocates a new culture of civilization,roots the spirit of rule of law and belief in the Chinese nation,under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,leads the people to use the rule of law thinking to resolve disputes and contradictions.In response to the report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the main contradictions in our society have changed,so that the people can live a more dignified and happy life.The fourth part explains Xi Jinping's rule of law thought about the principle of rule of law construction and its main characteristics.The last part analyses the value of Xi Jinping's thought of rule of law in the times,and combs it from three aspects: state,society and individual.It will greatly promote the construction of a holistic approach to strengthening the rule of law in the country,in its goverment and in society,a theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the realization of Two Centenary Goals and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
