A Research On The Issue Of International Law About Autonomous Weapons Application

With the development of artificial intelligence technology,the level of modern military weapons is constantly improving,and autonomous weapons are gradually entering people's field of vision.The emergence of autonomous weapons blurs the boundaries between "weapons" and "combatants".For the consideration of its ability to comply with international law and its legal responsibility,autonomous weapons should be used as a new means of warfare to accept the review and regulation of international law.We can use the existing new weapons review mechanism as a reference model to build an autonomous weapons review mechanism.Although there is currently no international law on autonomous weapons,the existing international law treaties and international practices can be used to explain and regulate autonomous weapons.The use of autonomous weapons in armed conflicts must strictly abide by the principle of distinction and proportionality in international humanitarian law.If the use of autonomous weapons is a serious violation of international humanitarian law,the state must bear the responsibility for compensation,and the commander must bear the criminal responsibility.
