The Judicial Social Workers' Involvement In The Study Of Minors

Because of the immature mentality,minors are susceptible to adverse factors in various aspects during the process of growth,resulting in deviant behavior.Survey data in recent years shows that the crime rate of juveniles has been continuously rising,and the age of crime has been younger.How to prevent juvenile crime and re-offense has become an important issue that the government and society need to pay attention to.This study first conducted questionnaires and interviews on 33 cases to understand the group characteristics and the causes of crimes.The results of the survey showed that the majority of minors involved in crimes are underage men and generally have low levels of education.Most of them are children of migrant workers.The types of crimes are mainly group crimes.The criminal behavior is closely related to the minor's family background,peer-to-peer interaction,school education,and social environment.In the process of further summarizing and researching these reasons,the author finds that the lack of social support caused by the above reasons is the fundamental reason that causes minors to embark on the road of illegal crimes.Based on the above research results,the author uses case L as an example to detail how judicial social workers use professional theories and methods to help minors consolidate and optimize their social support systems so as to achieve the goal of correcting the psychological and behavioral aspects of juvenile delinquency.In the evaluation stage of intervention effects,the effect of intervention by social workers was determined through the evaluation of the intervention process by the minors themselves,their parents and social workers,and the comparison of the specific behaviors of the minors involved before and after intervention.The evaluation results show that the support of the families,schools,communities and various systems of the minors involved has been strengthened to a certain degree under the assistance of the social workers.The minor's criminal mentality and criminal behavior have been corrected and it has now begun to be normal.Live and learn.Based on the above research results,the author puts forward the following recommendations:First,the "key target" focuses on prevention,according to the group characteristics of minors involved in the crime to identify the focus groups,promote social workers in schools and outreach services,and key youth information management System construction,do a good job in the prevention of juvenile crime.2.Strengthen the service concept of "human beings in the situation" to promote mutual coordination between minors involved in the crime and the environment,strengthen the support of various systems,and help the minors better return to society;?.Improve supervision and evaluation Mechanisms to ensure that social work is involved in the service effectiveness of correctional services for juveniles.
