Japan and India are two indispensable forces in the Asian region. In the twentieth century,Japan-India relations have been affected by changes in the world situation. After entering the new century,Japan-India relations have entered a new period of opportunity, and bilateral relations have heated up rapidly. In the political field, the two countries established the "global strategic partnership" as the node at the end of 2006.Prior to this, the overall development trend of the two countries was relatively stable and then heated up rapidly. In the economic field,Japan's economic assistance to India has increased rapidly since the new century. It is mainly used for infrastructure construction in India and to improve the environment and grassroots people's livelihood. In bilateral economic trade, both the trade volume between Japan and India and the trade status between each other have been greatly improved. In addition, the amount of Japanese companies investing in India is rising, and the number of Japanese and Japanese enterprises in India is also increasing. In the field of security,in terms of traditional security, the two countries have vigorously strengthened maritime security cooperation, which has gradually evolved from the initial joint military exercise and other specific cooperation to institutionalization and standardization. In terms of non-traditional security, energy and the environment have also become new areas of cooperation between Japan and India. The relationship between Japan and India has been rapidly strengthened after entering the new century, which is the result of the joint action of multiple reasons. From an international perspective, peace and development have become the theme of the times after the end of the Cold War.After entering the new century, governments are still committed to developing their national strength through inter-state cooperation, which provide favorable benefits for the rapid development of Japan-India relations.International Environment. In addition, the common demand for curbing China's rapid rise and the efforts made by the United States in the new century since the implementation of the "Indo-Pacific strategy" to promote bilateral interaction and cooperation between Japan and India have promoted the strengthening of Japan-India relations. As far as Japan and India are concerned, they both respect Western values, have a geographical interest and a common pursuit for becoming a political power, and the space for future economic cooperation is very broad, which has become the driving forces for the rapid approach of Japan and India. The strengthening of Japan-India relations has also had a great impact on Japan and India themselves, the Indo-Pacific region and China. For Japan and India, the cooperation between the two sides has had many positive effects in the political, economic and security fields. However, for the Indo-Pacific region, although the close relationship between Japan and India can have a certain positive impact,it also makes the security structure in the region more complicated and it also may cause negative results such as the arms race. For China,it has produced a series of negative effects, which has increased the difficulty of solving China's territorial problems, expanded the risk of westbound waterways and energy security, and it also affected the security situation around China and the development of "The Belt and Road".
