Research On Ethical Dilemmas In The Implementation Of Social Work For Left-behind Elderly In Rural Areas

The social work is guided by the altruism values to help solve their own problems and enhance the social functions of disadvantageous groups of people in society with scientific ways and techniques so as to solve social problems and promote helping activities of the entire society.The activities of helping others must be established on professional values,while the whole process of helping others is the practice of the social work ethic.The social workers are the practitioners of the social work ethic,based on which the helping activities are carried out.The work ethics will be influenced by concrete person or environmental factor.Therefore social workers will be in a ethical dilemma if the work ethic is handled improperly.This paper chooses the subject ‘ Research on Ethical Dilemma in the Implementation of Social Work for Left-behind elderly in Rural Areas 'as its main research topic and focuses on the practical process of ethical dilemma of the social workers in their working projects,and finally summarize and analyze the performance and influence of ethical dilemma in the social work services of caring for the Left-behind elderly in rural areas.All of those aims to explore the reasons of producing different ethical dilemma and then find out ways to solve these ethical dilemmas.In this paper,I chose 7 social workers in the Q project responsible for the Y organization and combined with my own experience of participating in the project.Then I finally conclude 4 aspects of the ethical dilemma of social workers in Q project,which are as follows:Confusion of professional relationships and personal relationships,Interest conflicts of relevant service objects,Limited resources allocations,Professional responsibility and evaluative pressure.The reasons causing the above ethical dilemmas are different aspects of conflicts,which are lies infollowing: Different values,Lack of localized social work ethical principle,Conflict of interest,Absence of practical ethical values.I will try to seek the coping strategy from 4 aspects to deal with the ethical dilemma in the project.In this paper I will emphasize on the importance of the social workers themselves' deep learning of social work ethics to solve the ethical dilemma.
