The Intervention Study Of Social Work Training On Pro-social Behaxior For Children In Need

Along with the incident about crime exposure of the children in need increasing,the problem of needy children'growth problem has received the widespread attention from all walks of life.Because of the external factor from family?economy?society and the subjective factors of their personality characteristics like character ability and self choice in growthing,needy children show negative emotions and behavior,like negative,offensive at all.Researches show that the culture of poverty children's pro-social behavior could be used to change the negative aspects of subjective factors,and it also have a positive impact on children's growth.Therefore,this study attempts to apply the method of social work to cultivate children's pro-social behavior,the purpose is to support some related practices for studying methods of social work to cultivate needy children's pro-social behavior.The researcher choose a needy children M in S village Nanjing as a case.There are several main reasons to choose S village.Firstly,there are lots of needy children in S village,it is representative.Secondly,the researcher herself has been doing practice in Nanjing city S village before six months ago,who is familiar with the situation of pro-social behaviort of the needy children,it is contribute to doing some service.Through asking the needy children to make a survey of pro-social behavior and interviewing teacher in group activities,as well as the observation of the group activities,because of the lack of economic resources,lack of family education as well as the lack of social network which caused the lack of moral judgment of the lower level and the wrong cognition,lack of empathy,negative personality,needy children in S village did not have the team cooperation spirit,to the showed indifference,and accompanied by selfishness.For the appeal,the researcher choosed a typical research object M,adopted the model of rational emotional therapy,cognitive theory,dialectical behavioral therapy,used the method of case work for the intervention of six stages,the final evaluation showed increased pro-social behavior.Finally,this study attempts to reflect on the rational emotional therapy mode in case work and the ethical dilemma in the process practice,hoping to provide reference for social work intervention in pro-social behavior.
