Since the birth of the socialist system,western capitalist countries have not stopped infiltrating the ideology of socialist countries.Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,China's comprehensive national strength has been significantly enhanced,the status of the world's second largest economy has been more consolidated,while the pattern of international and domestic interests has also undergone profound changes,China has entered a critical period of comprehensive deepening reform and social transformation.In this critical period of history,the United States and other Western capitalist countries have tried their best to suppress China by means of economy,technology,diplomacy and culture,launched trade wars in the economic field,intensified their control over China by using technological advantages in the technical field,jointly exerted pressure and even resisted China in the diplomatic field,and intensified ideological infiltration in the cultural field.In the era of peace,socialist China was gradually "dismantled".The struggle in the field of ideology is a war without smoke.As an important position in the field of ideology and culture,if we do not occupy it,others will occupy it.Marx emphasized that "if we look at it from an ideological point of view,the disintegration of certain forms of consciousness is enough to destroy the whole era." Ideology is related to the future and destiny of the country,to the long-term stability of society,to the cohesion,leadership and centripetal force of culture,and to the people's "ideals,beliefs,values and moral concepts",so we must firmly grasp the leadership of the Party in Ideological work.Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,the CPC has achieved remarkable results in the construction of ideological leadership,the guiding role of Marxism in the ideological field has been more distinctly consolidated,the construction of socialist core values has achieved remarkable results,and the ideological understanding of the whole Party and society has become more united.But at the same time,there are also some problems in the construction of the CPC's ideological leadership,such as insufficient understanding of the importance of the ideological leadership,undeveloped ways of the construction of the ideologicalleadership,inadequate supervision of the key areas of ideology,and inadequate implementation of the responsibility system for ideological work by some Party committees.Therefore,how to strengthen the ideological leadership of the CPC has become crucial.To strengthen the ideological leadership of the Communist Party of China,we need to strengthen the capacity building of the ideological leadership of the Communist Party of China,promote the innovation of the methods of the ideological leadership of the Communist Party of China,and strengthen the supervision and management of the ideological leadership of the Communist Party of China,so as to further promote the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in Xi Jinping's new era.
