Government’s Information Disclosure Mechanism In The Process Of Dealing With Sudden Mass Incidents Research In Weng’an Event For Example

Since the beginning of the reform and opening up in 1978,China’s economy has maintained a sustained and rapid development momentum,in the field of economic achievements have attracted the attention of the world.To promote the comprehensive well-off society has made new progress,comprehensive deepening reform has taken significant steps at the same time,the imbalance of economic development,the gap between urban and rural development between the East and the west,gradually widening problems have become increasingly prominent.With the continuous development of reform and opening up,China has entered a crucial period of reform.The unbalanced economic development brings the profound adjustment of interest relationship has also brought a series of social problems,the gap between rich and poor,things between urban and rural areas has not only brought the crowd some psychological imbalance,but also brought some problems can not be avoided.The economic structure of the coexistence of city economy and the rural economy has been unable to meet the needs of social development,the social contradiction is more prominent,the conflict of interests is expanding,China’s Gini coefficient in 2006 has reached 0.49 but also increased year by year,these are the social unstable factors,are likely to be the intensification of contradictions and make unexpected public events in social groups incidents are frequent.In recent years,the Guizhou Weng’an incident,Hubei Shishou incident etc exposed some of the local government lack of image management in the process of dealing with sudden mass events,ignore the important role of the media in the maintenance of the image of the government,the lack of a unified coordination of public relations and public relations capabilities and organizational capabilities.The government in dealing with public events,if handled improperly,it is easy to exacerbate the instability of the event,but also to the public questioned the government’s image and governance capabilities.Based on the domestic and foreign theories of public management and new social media,this paper expounds how to deal with the government information disclosure in the process of dealing with sudden mass incidents.Through the case study and comparative analysis,this paper summarizes and analyzes the causes of sudden mass incidents and the problems existing in the process of government information disclosure.According to our country’s Wengan incident,proposed the government image project incidents in establishing measures,aims to provide theoretical basis and practical value for the treatment of public emergencies in the future better.
