| China's population is becoming more and more aging,and the old-age dependency ratio has increased year by year.The traditional model of elderly-care tends to be weakened and insufficient in function and resource providing.At present,China has entered an important strategic window of the reform and development of the old-age and the construction of the elderly-care system.Various new types of elderly-care emerge as the times require,while limited to larger cities.As the development progress and service level of elderly-care services across the country are quite different,as a small-scale city,the old-age cause of Heyuan City,Guangdong Province still faces many obstacles after years of extensive development.Based on the planning of the development of old-age and the construction of the elderly-care system,this paper investigates the middle-aged and elderly people's willingness and influencing factors of institutional elderly-care in Heyuan City by the questionnaire survey.Different from the past research ideas,this paper tries to explore the similarities and differences between middle-aged and elderly people in the willingness and influencing factors of institutional elderly-care,find out the obstacles facing the development of elderly-care institutions under these similarities and differences.Then to consider how to solve the practical problems of public old-age service in small-scale cities,provide countermeasures and suggestions for the planning of elderly-care institutions construction in small-scale cities in China like Heyuan City.The main content of this paper consists of three parts.The first three chapters are the research basis of this paper.In the introduction part,through reviewing the basic situation of China's old-age development,the research background and research significance of this paper are put forward,and the research ideas and methods are basically expounded.The second and third chapters organize the relevant researches,theoretical basis and domestic development status of institutional elderly-care,summaries and establishes the research basis of this paper and clarifies the research perspective.The fourth and fifth chapters are the main part of this paper,in which analyzes the middle-aged and elderly people's willingness and possible influencing factors of institutional elderly-care in Heyuan City.In the third chapter,the willingness of the middle-aged and elderly people was described,and the similarities and differences between middle-aged and elderly people participating in the questionnaire were compared.The fourth chapter describes and contrasts the factors affecting the demand of institutional elderly-care.The sixth chapter is the conclusion of this study.The analysis of this paper draws the following conclusions.Firstly,the willingness of institutional elderly-care is affected by factors such as age,gender,education level,physical health level,number of children,etc.Secondly,the willingness of institutional elderly-care will be related to objective factors such as family and economic situation.Thirdly,the institutional elderly-care willingness of the middle-aged is stronger than of the elderly people.Fourthly,the willingness of young people to institutional elderly-care may increase in the future.Fifthly,medical care services,fees,food and accommodation conditions are the most concerned factors in choosing elderly-care institution.Sixth,the current awareness of Heyuan citizens on the service of elderly-care institutions in this city is not high,which affects the willingness of institutional elderly-care to a certain extent.On this basis,this paper introduces the problems of small-scale cities in the promotion of the elderly-care institution operation,the introduction of new-type elderly service institutions,and the supply and demand relationship of public elderly services.Lastly,this paper proposes countermeasures and suggestions such as to strengthen the three-dimensional publicity of socialized elderly-care services,to increase the support to elderly-care institutions in policy and measure development,to strengthen the governmental promotion of new-type elderly service institutions,to initiative for green and health living and elder-care planning,etc.. |
