From Social Organization To Social Enterprise:Research On The Development Model Of Charity Supermarket

Social organizations can be functioned as various important roles in the process of social governance modernization,such as a resource integrator,social service provider,advanced culture advocate,and solution provider.The advancement of China's harmonious society and the realization of a comprehensive well-off society are inseparable from the comprehensive and massive participation of social organizations.As an important part of social organization,charity supermarkets shoulder an important responsibility for broadening charity rescue channels,correcting volunteer malfunction and spreading charity culture.However,from the perspective of operational practice,charitable supermarkets are generally poorly managed and lacking vitality due to limited resources and independence.Past literatures show that insufficient resources,inefficient operation of the social organization,and dysfunctional volunteering impose great limitations on the development of the charity supermarket.The charity supermarket must shatter the shackles of the existing operation mode so that its operation can be qualitatively improved.Regarding breakthroughs and transformations that the charity supernmarket has made,the existing literatures do not generate a clear answer.This paper clearly states that the development strategy of the charity supermarket should be transformed from a social organization into a social enterprise,while the argumentation and transformation path are elaborated.On the basis of systematically reviewing related research literatures at home and abroad,this paper summarizes the problems existing in the development of current charity supermarkets through in-depth investigation of H city c:harity supermarkets,and analyzes the causes of problems and the possible consequences of problems for judgment;The cognitive consensus and practical experience reached and gained by a social enterprise in the international community analyzes the convergence of the operation mode of the charity supermarket and the social enterprise,and proposes the development idea of the social enterprise of the charity supermarket and the specific path to realize this transformation.The author asserts that cross-border cooperation and innovation are the only way for the future development of social organizations.Social enterprises that are oriented towards solving social problems and using commercial means to achieve sustainable development are upgraded versions of social organizations,which can greatly promote the efficiency of social risks and improve the efficiency of social responsibility resources.There is a crying need for social enterprise in charity supermarkets.The most urgent task is to work hard on four aspects:access approval,resource support,business strategy and atmosphere creation.
