In this paper,Owen Lattimore' s(replaced by "La Shi" below)representative collection“Inner Asian Frontiers of China”is the primary analytical text, supplemented by his other English essays and historical writings. The essay tries to analyze the core of the "Frontier Paradigm"created by the study of Chinese history.By sorting out the content of this paradigm,we sum up the contradictory relationships of "Advanced" and"Backward",the "Landlord" and "Peasant Class","Mobility and"Accumulation of wealth","Agricultural Society" and "Nomadic Society",which conform to the laws of unity of opposites.Together, they constitute the clue of La Shi's thinking about the development of Chinese history. The dialectical analysis of the historical interactive relationship is the core of the "Frontier Paradigm".The introduction of the above four sets of relations has attributed the origins, changes, evolutions, and development of the historical process of China's thousands of years to the interaction of various historical elements within China. Both the central plains,as the core, and the nomadic peoples that have long been regarded as barbarian, are the protagonists of history.
