Women's issues have always been closely related to people's lives, and women's legal status is a measure of a society's level of civilization. However,in traditional Chinese society,it not only pays attention to the patriarchal bloodline, but also pays attention to the ethical relationship of honor and esteem. It has a strong feudalism and makes the status of women plummet. This not only harms women, but also seriously restricts the development of the country. The overwhelming change in women's legal status was in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. In the process of overall social change, women were passively affected and gradually transformed into a force that influenced social change.Through the definition of time in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, the meaning of women's legal status, the social background, and the Tianping Heavenly Kingdom, the Reform Movement of the Eight Diagrams, the Beiyang Government, and the Nanjing Provisional Government, these representative regimes of the Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China did the situation of women. The changes of different degrees and different scopes are summarized and summarized,in order to draw the trajectory of the changes in the legal status of women in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, and to make a small contribution to the protection of the legal status of contemporary women in China. From the initial practice of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom to women's liberation to the further establishment of women's legal status in the Reform Movement of 1898;from the end of the Qing Dynasty to the new law reform, the progressive progress of the status of women in the legislation to the Beiyang government and the Nanjing Provisional Government on the relevant women's laws,The revision of the regulations,in the end, free and equal capitalist law replaced the legal system with the purpose of feudal ethics. The legal status of women was gradually improved in the process of this change, mainly in: women The personal rights of the people have been greatly improved.Women have gained great freedom in marriage.Women have been given the right to education and political participation. With the opportunity to participate in social activities, more women have left the family and increased their knowledge.Broaden your horizons. However, due to the deep-rooted feudal ideology, women's legal status is far from the extent given by the law at the time, and there are still serious flaws. There are still discrimination against women.Women's education level is still lower than that of men. There are still some restrictions on employment.Labuan is still popular. In this case,it was not until the founding of New China that it was completely changed to truly achieve legal equality between men and women. The efforts made by the late Qing and early Republic of China to improve women's legal status should be affirmed. It tells us that women's liberation and women's social status must be based on the elimination of feudal patriarchal ideas and the development of equality between men and women. The core of this is the only way to truly achieve the unification of women's legal status in legislation and de facto.
