Globalization,urbanization and modernization are constantly promoting the transformation and development of urban minority communities with an irresistible social force.Compared with the minority-group residential community in village,the Minority-group Residential Community in Cities is more likely to be affected in terms of the geospatial structure,the community population structure and the community economic structure.Especially in the process of modernization transformation and development,the spatial pattern of "temple-square integration" in the urban Lane community has been gradually broken for nearly thousands years,and the “inhabit a region” model of “living arounf the mosque” is increasing moving towards the “Live scattered” model of “Residence far from the mosque”.The original "homogeneous community" is developing towards the "mixed community".A series of changes have challenged the unique traditional customs and nationality of urban Hui communities,but placeness is still an important creator of personal identity and community business cards.Placeness is an important field in the study of human geography.Placeness has increasingly become an important dimension to reveal the local uniqueness and interpret the human-land relationship.Through the study of the placeness of scattered living minority community,we deeply understand the space that carries the activities of the Hui people,and hope to promote the local inheritance and cultural development of urban Hui communities.This paper selects the Kaifeng Shanyitang Hui communities as the research area.Based on the local theoretical research of domestic and foreign scholars,and specifically on the micro-scale of Shanyitangcommunity,aiming at its uniqueness,this paper tries to construct a research framework of "structure-action-experience",using the research methods with equal emphasis,which includes literature research,case studies,semi-structured interviews,drawing image maps and space-time paths maps.Through the empirical analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The placeness of urban scattered living minority community is the “cultural landscape” and the dynamic representation process of specific subjects “place ballets-sense of place initiative",that is,placeness is dynamic,changing and not fixed.Placeness varies depending on the degree of expression of local ballet,sense of placeness and initiative of the activists.(2)The cultural landscape is a historical and cultural product of the unique human-land relationship projected into space,which plays a central role in the structure of human-land relationship in urban minority communities.The place performance of the community's major activities centered on cultural heritage reflects the function of man-land relationship in space.Residents' sense of place is weakening from generation to generation.The behavioral entity completes the construction and characterization of identity through management systems and local exhibitions.(3)Structuralism mechanism and humanism mechanism work together on the formation of the urban placeness of scattered living minority community.On the one hand,the formation and continuation of the placeness of Shanyitang mosque is the result of external structural dynamics.The renewal of urban spatial structure has changed the original man-land relationship,and the change of spatial pattern is the spatial basis for the formation of the placeness of urban scattered living minority communities;The support from the government's policy has helped to preserve the local culture of Shanyitang Mosque;The motivation of capital is the material basis for the formation of the placeness in the early stage and the maintenance of thelocal culture in the later period;and the cultural structure is the embodiment of the inner cultural level of space production,and religious beliefs play an important role in the cultural structure,influencing the placeness through cultural landscape and religious rituals.On the other hand,the formation of the placeness of Shanyitang mosque is the result of the residents giving full play of their subjectivities and the endogenous subjectivity mechanism driven by the actors.The local experience of different actors directly strengthens the local sense of Shanyitang mosque.As the active leading and driving role of the actors,the Temple Management Council is the internal driving force for the continuation of the placeness.It can be seen that the study on the representation and formation mechanism of urban placeness of scattered living minority community should be placed under the common perspective of structuralism and humanism,paying attention not only to individual feelings and experiences from the perspective of humanism,but also to the role of social group construction from the perspective of structuralism,and regard it as a process of interaction between "structure" and "society",“behavior” and “ individual”connected by "action".
