Liberty has been the ideal that people pursue unremittingly since ancient times.Philosophers of every era have explored and elucidated how to realize individual liberty and human liberty.Their free thought covers all aspects. This is because the concept of liberty itself needs multi-dimensional interpretation.Marx carefully analyzed the mode of production and the mode of domination under the capitalist system. He criticized the liberty advocated by the bourgeoisie as a false liberty.Marx believed that in order to obtain political liberty, the capitalist unjust relations of production must be changed, and the proletariat must be liberated from alienated labor.People's liberation is first and foremost economic liberation.Only when people's basic material needs are satisfied, can they pursue spiritual and political liberty. The ultimate goal of economic and political liberty is to achieve the free and all-round development of everyone and the liberation of the whole society.Marx's political liberty is built on the basis of subjective consciousness and self-conscious acquisition of people. It is the political liberty of real people and the political liberty in the community.Political liberty is the concretization of human liberty in the political field.Marx's thought of political liberty contains abundant contents. It is of great guiding significance for us to deeply understand Marx's thought of political liberty in the construction of political civilization in the new era.
