In the process of China's modernization,the government's social management and social service functions have been expanding.It is necessary to establish and strengthen government authority to ensure the government's dominant position.The government's management and service activities in various social affairs,including the cultural brands,It should and must be built around the establishment and strengthening of government authority.As a social affairs favored by local governments,cultural brands have many different types of business and different scales.The role of the government,especially the local government,is different.The strategies and actions adopted by the government authority are inevitably different.Then,what kind of authoritative shaping strategies and behaviors have local governments adopted in specific cultural brands?What is the effect?What is the logic of action of local governments?This article takes the cultural brand of Mountain Marathon in Lichuan City as an observation and analysis case,and tries to answer this question with the help of Bourdieu's Capital Theory.Since 2016,when the first China Mountain Marathon(short for CMM)held in Lichuan city,after its origins,development and forming stages,its competition specifications from local extensions to the upgraded to international,its nature connotation from sports activities extends to multiple categories such as tourism,culture and city marketing.In lichuan city,CMM is one of the culture brands with rare scale and influence.First of all,the development of the CMM cultural brand benefits from the cultivation and promotion of the local government.Through economic,cultural and social capital operation strategies and behaviors,local governments boost the generation of cultural brands from three aspects of foundation,image and influence.Second,the local government has carried out a series of politicization and ritual construction of cultural brands.From the top-level design to construct brand ideology,from the activity scene and process to construct cultural brand presentation form,from the brand value content to construct cultural brand representation,local government intends to shape government authority from three aspects:social mainstream ideology,political performance and political identity.Finally,in the process of local government building cultural brand,capital operation and authority shaping interact.Capital operation shapes government authority,economic capital operation strengthens government administrative capacity,cultural capital operation optimizes government cultural functions,social capital operation enhances government prestige;government authority determines strategies,methods and effects of capital operation.
