Research On Corruption In Contemporary China From The Perspective Of Mass History

The historical view of the masses is an important part of the Marxist historical materialism.The historical view of the masses reveals that the people are the creators of history and the fundamental of the purposes and ruling ideas of Marxist parties.The contents of the mass history view include the four aspects of the people’s masses being the historical subject,the masses’ views,the mass line,and the historical constraints of the masses’ creative activities.China is a socialist country where the people are the masters of the country.The people’s position is the center of the power system,the basis of power restriction,and the guarantee of power supervision.The essence of corruption is the alienation of the attributes of the masses of power.The attribute of the masses who guarantee power is the fundamental purpose of anti-corruption work and the basis and guarantee for the victory of anti-corruption work.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,while China’s anti-corruption work has won an overwhelming victory,the situation of the anti-corruption struggle is still severe and complicated.This paper takes the view of mass history as the theoretical perspective,and analyzes the causes of corruption from the perspective of public officials and the people’s ideological psychology and power mechanism.Then explore ways to prevent and cure corruption and propose countermeasures.The main body of the paper is divided into four parts.The first part elaborates the theory of mass history as the theoretical basis of anti-corruption.This part mainly summarizes the basic principles of the mass history view,including the main content of the mass history view and the contemporary development,that is,the Xi Jinping’s People-centered Exposition;the mass history view reveals the essence of power and is the basis for establishing a correct view of power,values and interests;The perspective of mass history reveals the essence of corruption.The second part summarizes the current situation and main manifestations of corruption in contemporary China.This paper summarizes the general situation ofcurrent corruption,combs and analyses six manifestations of corruption: "four winds" problems,"fighting for profits with the people","four interweaving" issues,"three rights" transaction,collective corruption and negative corruption.Corruption is a serious threat to the party’s ruling foundation,political and social atmosphere,Party discipline,national law and economic development.The third part analyzes the causes of corruption in contemporary China from the viewpoint of mass history.There are two main reasons for corruption: one is the ideological and psychological reasons of the public officials and the people,that is,the lack of the people’s standpoint,the wrong view of values,power and interests,the influence of the "official-based" ideology,and the lack of the people’s feelings.At the same time,the subjective consciousness and power consciousness of the masses are not strong,but also a cause.On the other hand,corruption is due to imperfect institutional mechanisms for the people to participate in power,restrict power,supervise power,and express and coordinate interests.The fourth part,from the perspective of the mass history of history,puts forward the countermeasures against contemporary China’s anti-corruption.In terms of ideology,strengthen the education of the mass history of the whole society,strengthen the masses’ stance training,strengthen the correct ideological concepts,strengthen the cultivation of the masses’ feelings,and at the same time enhance the messes’ subjective consciousness and power consciousness;In terms of institutional mechanisms,we will improve the system of people’s ownership as the master,build a more scientific mechanism for power participation,restriction,and supervision,improve the mechanism for expressing and coordinating interests,and create a more intense atmosphere for the broad and orderly participation of the people in anti-corruption.
