YongYan was the first newspaper Liang Qichao set up after he came back to China.It was a comprehensive publication based on political theory and had an important influence on political and social life in the early republic of China.Liang Qichao,Wu Guanyin,Zhang Dongsun,Huang Yuansheng and other groups of writers published a large number of political articles in YongYan.They used the journal to build political consensus,create public opinion momentum,organize political forces,and publicize their own constitutional proposition,which highlighted the special status and value of the political discourse style in the politics of the early republic of China.Liang Qichao also achieved his goal of joining the cabinet by virtue of the publication's publicity.However,with the change of Liang Qichao from supporting Yuan to defeating Yuan,the fate of YongYan also declined and sank into the old paper heap of history.The integration of Liang Qichao's YongYan into the political history of the early republic of China shows the characteristics of modern Chinese newspapers and periodicals in the politics of the early republic of China,and reveals the inextricable connection between modern Chinese newspapers and politics.Although YongYan was only founded for 30 issues,it was also a microcosm of Chinese intellectuals' efforts to reform and gain strength in the changing political situation in the early years of the republic of China and played an important role in the study of the development of political theory of Chinese modern newspaper.Liang Qichao had been living in exile in Japan for 14 years and had read and accepted a lot of western political thoughts.The YongYan founded by Liang Qichao during his return to China must reflect the changes in his thoughts.Therefore the research on this jouroul is of great value and significance to the study of Liang Qichao's political thoughts in newspapers and periodicals.At present,there is no discussion on the political essays in the press of YongYan in the academic circle.This paper attempts to study the style of political essays in the press of YongYan in order to sort out the political thoughts of the constitutional school represented by Liang Qichao in the early republic of China and its efforts to innovate and strengthen.This paper will analyze and study the political thoughts of "YongYan" from four aspects.The first chapter analysis the development of newspapers and the media,in the late Qing dynasty in the newspaper is very important part of the newspaper articles on politics,the origin and development of newspaper articles on politics created by Wang Tao,the development of the reformists will expand represented by Liang Qichao,before and after the reform movement and the revolution caused two orgasms,newspapers and political essays further mature.In the second chapter,the author analyzes the background of the establishment of YongYan,the idea of running the newspaper,the introduction of its columns and the writers' groups,which lays a foundation for the analysis of the main content of YongYan's political papers in the third chapter.The third chapter,insisting on the method of close reading of the text,analyzes the political articles supplemented by the columns of "voice behavior" and the column of'commentary" and "art forest" in YongYan.The writers represented by Liang Qichao attach importance to making statements on practical problems,which is realistic.It is practical to attach importance to and analyze the thought of constitutionalism.Most of the writers of YongYan are mostly influenced by western thoughts and most of them have the experience of studying abroad.Their ideas are advanced and free,and they are not bound.At the end of the third chapter,the political theory and propaganda thought of YongYan is simply sorted out and summarized.
