Under the guidance of Marxist ethnic education theory,Mao Zedong's ethnic education thought critically inherited the Chinese traditional education thought and the ethnic view,used for reference and absorbed the Soviet Union ethnic education experience,has successively experienced the ethnic consciousness awakening,revolutionary base ethnic education movement,the formation of the ethnic education ideas,ethnic education thought of further enrich and ethnic education thoughts of the curves and so on several different stages of development.The theoretical content of Mao Zedong's thought on ethnic education mainly includes the educational objectives of autonomy and autonomy in basic concepts,the educational policy of equality and unity,the educational value of development and progress,and the education of basic principles to serve the construction of revolution.The separation of education and religion,the combination of unity of education and ethnic particularity,as well as the overall management and proper arrangement of basic strategies,highlighting the ethnic form and ethnic characteristics,developing socialist ethnic education,and so on.In order to understand the main contents of Mao Zedong's ethnic education thought in an all-round way,it is necessary to clarify the three main ways to strengthen Mao Zedong's practice of ethnic education.First of all,in the process of laying the foundation for the development of education in ethnic areas,,Mao Zedong reduced the educational gap by popularizing basic education and cultural education,developing bilingual education,organizing and mobilizing the people to help build ethnic education,and promoting the common development of ethnic education and economic culture,and so on.It ensures the quantity and scale of the development of ethnic education.Secondly,Mao Zedong began with grasping the internal relationship between ethnic education and the United front,the decisive role of cadres in ethnic education,and the guidance of policy education in ethnic education,so as to improve the quality of ethnic education under the leadership of the Party.On this basis,we should further explore the scientific path of the development of ethnic education by increasing the investment in education and the construction of teaching staff,taking various forms of development of ethnic education and adopting contradictory analysis methods to develop ethnic education.On the whole,these practical ways carry out the main contents of the thought of ethnic education,and make the ethnic education develop scientifically and orderly.At present,under the background of building a powerful educational country,Mao Zedong's ethnic education thought is increasingly prominent.As far as the theoretical value is concerned,Mao Zedong's thought on ethnic education is not only enrich,but also develops Marxist ethnic theory and expands the research space of the two major theoretical achievements of Marxist Sinicization.It has laid the ideological foundation for the development of ethnic education after China's reform and opening up,and provides valuable experience for dealing with the problems of ethnic education in China.In terms of practical value,the thought not only promotes the liberation and development of ethnic minorities in ethnic areas;but also embodies the strength of national unity and national rejuvenation.And strengthened "the Chinese nation community consciousness".An in-depth study of Mao Zedong's thoughts on ethnic education and its value of the times will be devoted to the current study of "the correct way to solve ethnic problems with Chinese characteristics".The correct response to complex ethnic issues and complex ethnic affairs has important guiding significance.
