Study On Corruption In Municipal Prisons Of Guangdong Province

Corruption is a long-standing topic,and most countries in the world face the problem of corruption to varying degrees.Since the 18 th National Congress,the party and the government have mentioned anti-corruption work to a new height.They have incorporated anti-corruption into the national governance system and achieved good results.Anti-corruption has formed an overwhelming situation.The anti-corruption work of the prison system is also being carried out in an orderly manner.The prison police is at the forefront of criminal law enforcement and is the last line of defense for judicial justice in China.Whether the prison police as the main body of punishment is fair and honest will not only reflect whether the social image of the prison is intact,but also reflect the degree of civilization and progress of the society from one aspect.For prisons,due to the closed nature of the prison system,corruption is easy to hide,and corruption prevention is also difficult.The municipal prison is a relatively special existence of the prison system.The personnel and finance of the municipal prison are governed by the local government,and the business management is supervised by the provincial prison administration.If the two superior departments do not complement each other in management supervision,It is easy to cause serious corruption problems in municipal prisons.Based on a sample study of corruption cases in municipal prisons in Guangdong Province,this paper describes the situation and characteristics of corruption in municipal prisons in recent years,as well as the resistance and practices encountered in the prevention and control of prisons in municipal prisons.Studying and applying the theory of public management ethics,the anti-corruption theory of the system,and the theory of prevention and control of the integrity of the government,through the questionnaire feedback,analyze the causes of corruption in the municipal prisons in Guangdong Province and the problems existing in the prevention and control work.Afterwards,it draws on the practices and experiences of police corruption prevention and control in countries with higher Corruption Perceptions in Singapore,Sweden,and the United States,and studies and explores some countermeasures to strengthen corruption prevention and control in municipal prisons,from investigation and punishment,system optimization,prevention and control mechanisms,and clean government.Concrete discussions on construction,incentive mechanisms,and supervision.The purpose of this paper is to study and explore the causes of corruption in municipal prisons and how to get rid of the influence of corruption to conduct research and exploration of corruption,and provide practical ideas for the better and cleaner development of municipal prisons.
