Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Xi’an Women’s Federation’s Intervention In Domestic Violence

IIThe universal existence of domestic violence has aroused the attention of all sectors of society.Domestic violence will not only cause great damage to the physical and mental health of women victims of violence,but also has the law of inheritance between generations.Children who have experienced or seen domestic violence will be also prone to violence and choose violent means to resolve various conflicts and conflicts when they grow up,which will not only affect the happiness of the family,but also affect the stability and harmony of society.The Women’s Federation,as the “families” of the masses of women,has an unshirkable responsibility in opposing domestic violence and safeguarding women’s rights and interests.It is of far-reaching practical significance to carry out studies on the issues concerning the involvement of Women’s Federations in domestic violence,which helps Women’s Federations strengthen their own functions,reduces domestic violence,and creates a more harmonious and stable social environment.This pepaer comprehensively uses literature research and comparative analysis,and uses cooperative governance theory,social support theory,and empowerment theory as the theoretical basis,based on the analysis of the status quo and characteristics of domestic violence in Xi’an,the paper discusses the advantages of Xi’an Women’s Federation’s involvement in domestic violence from four aspects: politics,identity,network and function,and elaborates the paths for Xi’an Women’s Federations to involve in domestic violence through,including anti-domestic violence education,the promotion of anti-domestic violence coordination organizations,the women’s letters and visits agency work,the establishment of “Red Umbrella Women’s Home”,the provision of legal aid and the establishment of designated hospitals for anti-domestic violence medical services.Then this paper analyzes the problems of Xi’an Women’s Federation’s involvement in domestic violence,including the difficult of applying anti-domestic violence law,the difficulty of changing social cognition,the difficulty of functioning the social linkage mechanism,and the difficulty of carrying out professional involvement in domestic violence,and further analyzes the reasons for these problems.Finally,under the practical experience of domesticand foreign women’s organizations involved in domestic violence,The paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the involvement of Xi’an Women’s Federation in domestic violence,which includes promoting the soundness of the anti-domestic violence law,strengthening publicity and education for the the society,strengthening the cooperative management of the Women ’ s Federation and other departments,and improving the self-construction of the Women’s Federation.
