Research On The Anti-domestic Violence Of Women's Federation In Grassroots

Domestic violence is a very common social phenomenon,in any country,any system may exist.After the world conference on women was held in China in 1995,the issue of domestic violence was widely concerned,which turned domestic violence from a family dispute to a social issue and even into a policy issue.As an organization dedicated to protecting women's legitimate rights and interests,it is an inevitable requirement for women's federations to promote women's development to study how to strengthen their functions in anti-domestic violence work.This paper analyzes the role of the Women's Federation in Xianyou County in the work of anti-domestic violence as an individual case,and focuses on the problems,causes,measures and countermeasures that should be taken by the women's federations in grassroots in the pre-event control,in-process control and post-event control of domestic violence.This article carries on the elaboration from four parts.The first part describes the domestic and foreign situation of domestic violence and domestic violence related concepts and theories,describes the gender inequality is the cause of domestic violence,and how to promote the process of gender equality to solve domestic violence.The second part describes the function,role and path analysis of the anti-domestic violence of the women's federations in grassroots,and also describes the role of women's federations in grassroots and their implementation path adopted.The third part analyzes the current status,achievement,problems existed and causes of the anti-domestic violence work for the Women's Federation in Xianyou County through its intervention status of 15 domestic violence individual cases as well as the interviews of 20 counselors.The fourth part discusses the countermeasures and suggestions of the women's federations in grassroots in the anti-domestic violence work,and strengthens the pre-event control,in-process control and post-event control in the anti-domestic violence organized by the women's federation in grassroots,as well as respectively propose corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for those three aspects.The research shows that at present,women's federations at the grassroots level mainly use their own political,social and network advantages to build a social support system to solve the domestic violence problem for the abused women.By vigorously promoting the concept of gender equality and the anti-domestic violence law,the public will pay more attention to and change their views on domestic violence.Through coordinating with the public security department and other government departments,we actively promote the participation of all social departments in the anti-domestic violence work.Through the integration of social resources,the social support system for supporting and assisting the victims of violence should be initially established to solve the problem of domestic violence.The conclusion of the study can provide possible analytical thinking for women's federations in other counties to carry out anti-domestic violence work.
