The Research On Promoting China's International Discourse Power In The New Era

Throughout history,the real rise of a country is essentially the rise of its discourse power.A country can truly be called a strong and powerful one only when it can declare its own views clearly in international exchanges that are widely recognized by the international community,contribute its own wisdom in maintaining world peace and development,and,lead the international political and economic order to a more equitable and reasonable direction.Nowadays,the competition for international discourse power has become an important field and strategic goal among countries.In the course of 40 years of reform and opening-up,China's economic achievements have attracted worldwide attention,its comprehensive national strength has reached a new height,its position and influence in the international community has been significantly enhanced,and it is getting closer and closer to the goal of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese dream.Especially in the context of the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the Party and the state have put forward higher requirements and clearer implementation steps for China's development goals.At the same time,we should clearly realize that China is a rising power,but it is not yet a powerful country.In many ways,compared with other traditional powers,such as Europe and the United States,there are shortcomings,especially in the competition for the discourse power.Under the guidance of dialectical materialism and historical materialism,this study focuses on China's discourse power practice in foreign policy since the18 th CPC national Congress,especially takes the relevant statements and practice by President Xi Jinping on discourse power as the research topic in using methodologies that include literature review,concepts interpretation and comparative study to analyze the concept of China's international discourse power in the new era.In the meantime,deeper exploration has been made on promoting root cause analysis and optimizing trouble judging and route,and main contents have been declared on improving China's international discourse power in the new era.Based on these,detailed analysis has been made in the following several parts.The first part is introduction,which mainly discusses the research background and significance,research literature at home and abroad,research ideas,methods,innovations and shortcomings.The second part,which is the core of the research,is the definition of China's international discourse power in the new era.By defining the basic concept it and combining the development practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics since the 18 th CPC national Congress,this part analyzes the connotation,formation logic and process,characteristics of China's international discourse power in the new era and clarifies the main content of it.The third part is the reasons for promoting China's international discourse power in the new era.It analyses the inevitability of promoting China's international discourse power in the new era in adapting to the theoretical requirements of Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and responding to the practical needs of both positive and negative attitudes of the international community.As well as the feasibility of the theoretical quality assurance of the CPC keeping pace with the times,the strength support of China's comprehensive national strength,China's international participation and the historical trend of increasing influence.The fourth part is to face the challenges to enhance China's international discourse power in the new era.From both international and domestic perspectives,this paper analyzes that in order to enhance China's international discourse power in the new era so that we should break the oppression of Western discourse hegemony and eliminate the doubts and fears in developing countries.At the same time,we should face the multiple challenges of insufficient supply capacity of China's own policy discourse power definition,academic discourse innovations,and media discourse communication,so as to properly respond to them.The fifth part is the strategy to enhance China's international discourse power in the new era.It includes creating the image of four major powers,focusing on creating the content of dominant discourse,enhancing the ability of international public opinion dissemination,and expanding the platform of international exchanges as the carrier.
