In today's society,global governments are generally faced with the challenge of declining government credibility.At present,governments at all levels are facing the crisis of trust in the government.Government trust is the basis for the implementation of government policies,which reflects the degree of residents' recognition of the government.Higher levels of government trust can effectively reduce policy execution costs.In 2008,a famous 5.12 mega-earthquake occurred,which bringing great trauma to the people in the disaster areas.During the period of earthquake relief and post-disaster reconstruction,governments at all levels have successfully completed the relief work and post-earthquake reconstruction by investing a large amount of manpower,material resources and financial support to the quake-hit areas,thus helping the people in the quake-hit areas out of difficulties.Faced with such huge investment from the government,people in the disaster areas should have a high sense of trust in the government.However,in some existing studies and the author's field research,it is found that the trust of the residents in the disaster areas to the government has not been fully improved.It is the premise to improve the government trust to explore the influencing factors.Therefore,this study will focus on the people in Wenchuan disaster area.The core content of this research is the description of the trust of the government in Wenchuan earthquake-stricken areas and the analysis of its influencing factors.This study adopts an empirical research method.This paper studies and analyzes the results of the questionnaires obtained through the survey by participating in the 2018 Wenchuan Earthquake Tenth Anniversary Living Conditions Survey.It mainly includes the following parts: In the first part,based on the previous research results,based on the core view of government trust,the model of the influencing factors of government trust in Wenchuan earthquake-stricken areas is constructed,and the research hypothesis of this paper is proposed.In the second part,the data of 3,751 valid questionnaires collected were sorted out.The factor analysis and T test are used to describe the status quo and characteristics of the residents' trust in Wenchuan disaster area.The third part,based on the second part,further examines the influencing factors model by correlation analysis and regression analysis.The fourth part,based on the results of empirical analysis,provides targeted recommendations for improving government trust.The results show that: 1.The Wenchuan earthquake-stricken area government believes that there is a difference in the level of “central strength and weakness”.The regional differences show that the government in the disaster-stricken areas has the highest degree of trust,and the government in the hardest-hit areas has the lowest level of trust.2.The government trust has individual differences..Gender,political appearance,and household registration types have no significant impact on government trust.Ethnic and religious beliefs have a significant impact on government trust.3.The residents of the Wenchuan earthquake-stricken area trust the influence of interpersonal trust,media usage frequency,citizen participation,government performance,and government rescue behavior after the disaster.The influence degree of each influencing factor has certain differences.Among them,interpersonal trust has the most significant impact on government trust.
