Research On The Differences And Influencing Factors Of Community Home Care Service Demand

The aging of the population is an important symbol of the profound transformation of the social main structure and an inevitable outcome of the development of human society to a certain stage.Along with the economic transition,social transformation and conceptual changes,China’s population aging is characterized by its large scale and rapid development.The increasingly severe aging situation has not only spawned a large number of old-age needs,but also further increased the support pressure of young people,and made the solution of the elderly care problem in China facing challenges.The solution to the problem of old-age care is not only related to the happiness of the elderly in the later years,but also to the harmony and stability of the society and the long-term development of the country.At present,China’s traditional family pension model is unsustainable under the contradiction between the growing care demand and the limited family endowment function,and the institutional pension model is also stagnant under the social and economic conditions of “aging before wealthy” and “aging before preparation”.Under this background of pension,the community home care for the elderly,which combines the advantages of family pension and institutional pension,came into being,and became an important way to support the elderly and protect the elderly in their later years.After years of exploration,China’s community home care industry has made remarkable achievements,but the lack of service supply,uneven resource allocation,and insufficient individual satisfaction have hindered the sustainable development of community home care services.Therefore,it is necessary to promote the sustainable development of the community-based care for the elderly in our country.In the process of construction,we should provide accurate supply based on the needs of the elderly,and consider regional differences and group differences for better coordination.Firstly,based on the relevant literatures at home and abroad,the theories of community care,social support,demand level and regional economic unbalanced development are analyzed,which lays a substantial theoretical foundation for probing the differences and influencing factors of community home care service demand in China.Secondly,using CLHLS data,the demand and satisfaction status of community homecare services in China are compared and analyzed from the vertical and horizontal perspectives.It is found that the elderly have a high demand for community home care services,but there are serious contradictions in supply and demand,which reveals obvious regional differences and group differences.Thirdly,by constructing the MIMIC structural equation model,the factors affecting the needs of the community home care services for the elderly are explored from the two aspects of personal status and external support.The results show that factors regarding personal conditions and external support have different degrees of impact on the needs of the community home care services for the elderly,and even the elderly in different regions and different groups.Finally,combined with the results of normative analysis and empirical analysis,it proposes countermeasures for the development of community home care services in China.In the future development,on the one hand,it is necessary to accurately identify the needs of the community home-based care services for the elderly based on the differences,and on the other hand,to achieve the effective supply of community home-based care services based on demand.
