Study On The Group Differences And Countermeasures Of Home-based Elderly Care Service Demand In Nanchong

With the rapid development of industrialization,modernization and urbanization of human society in the 21 st century,people's living standards and medical standards have been greatly improved,which makes the birth population decrease,the number and proportion of the elderly population continue to increase,and population aging has become a common problem facing the whole world.As the country with the largest aging population in the world,China's special national conditions make the traditional family pension model unsustainable,and it is urgent to find a variety of pension methods that can provide for the elderly.Chinese scholars learn from the experience of foreign pension,through various research and social practice,to find a suitable way for the current situation of China's population pension-home-based pension.However,there is a lack of research on the influencing factors,similarities and differences of different elderly groups' demands for home-based elderly care services,and relevant empirical research needs to be carried out urgently.Taking Nanchong as an example,this paper makes a systematic study on the demand for home-based elderly care services.Based on the literature research,field research,empirical research and comparative analysis,this paper takes the elderly population of three districts under the jurisdiction of Nanchong City as the research object,and conducts a questionnaire survey.It analyzes the basic situation of the elderly population and the elderly service in the study area from three aspects: individual,family and regional facilities.Based on the questionnaire data,seven variables,such as gender,age and education level,were selected for binary logistic regression analysis to analyze the impact of these variables on the demand for homebased elderly care services,and to compare the demand selection and preferences of different elderly groups in elderly care services.Based on the above research,it is concluded that the elderly in Nanchong have a large demand for home-based elderly care services,and there are similarities and differences among different elderly groups in the demand for home-based elderly care services,but the supply of service items is too high,the utilization rate is too low,the effective supply is seriously insufficient,the community fails to provide services that meet the needs of different groups,and the publicity work is not in place.Among them,the age and health status of the elderly have the most significant impact on whether the elderly have home-based pension service demand,while other factors have less impact.The results of classification and comparison show that the demand of home-based elderly care services for health care is widespread among different elderly people.However,female elderly,young elderly,high education level,good health status,small number of children,high income level,the elderly who are civil servants and public institutions before retirement need more spiritual comfort services such as entertainment,psychological consultation,chat,etc.,otherwise,they need more life care services.In a more specific group division,there are subtle differences in the needs of home-based elderly care services.Finally,according to the characteristics of the elderly's demand for home-based elderly care services in Nanchong City,this paper puts forward suggestions and strategies for the development of home-based elderly care services,including improving the supporting policies for home-based elderly care,and formulating standards for various elderly care services.
