The Research On The Discourse Construction Process Of Adolescent "Internet Addiction" Label

The rapid spread of the Internet among the youth community has caused widespread discussion in the society,especially in the parents' concerns about the “Internet addiction” problem among teenagers.When the positivist paradigm regards "Internet addiction" as a kind of "social fact" that exists in reality,with the development of postmodernism,some scholars began to question the reality of "Internet addiction".Whether “Internet addiction” is real or not,how to define and intervene in “Internet addiction” has become a major dilemma in the work of juvenile cases,especially in the estimation process.Therefore,deconstructing the "Internet addiction" discourse and exploring effective predictive strategies are of great significance to the development of social work.Based on Foucault's discourse analysis framework,with the help of Nvivo 12 qualitative analysis software,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the macro and micro discourse construction process of teenagers' Internet addiction label through content analysis and case study,in order to understand the concept of Internet addiction in depth.Combining with the construction process of adolescent "internet addiction" discourse,this paper investigates the difficulties that may be encountered in the process of case work prediction,and then puts forward specific intervention strategies.The study found that: First,in the macroscopic construction process of discourse,the cyclical changes of media discourse,policy discourse and academic discourse have a convergent effect,showing similarity.The interaction of the three discourse forces together constitutes a serious "social problem" that causes the public to "panic",and the "Internet addiction" adolescents also become deviant teenagers who need to be "save" and "treat";Secondly,in the micro-construction process of discourse,family discourse and school discourse cooperate with each other,and compete with the "Internet addiction" youth discourse to define the right to speak of "Internet addiction".Further labeling the impact of “Internet addiction” as “affecting academic performance”,“causing behavioral treason”,and “decreasing self-control”;third,social workers are faced with the dilemma and intervention strategies of the case work estimation process.The problem is unclear,the relationship is difficult to establish,and the ethical value conflicts are three dilemmas.Based on the results of the study,this paper puts forward some interventional strategies from the micro,meso and macro levels,such as changing the perspective of problems,avoiding the status of experts,dealing with the negative emotions of the case owners,and explores the specific process of the prediction process of the case work of "internet addiction" adolescents.The innovation of this paper is to use the "Internet addiction" discourse as the research object,deconstruct the "Internet addiction" discourse instead of "Internet addiction" as an established social fact,which helps to better understand the concept.In addition,through the analysis of the "Internet addiction" youth discourse system,paying attention to the process of mutual structure and enhancing its subject status,it will help promote the benign interaction between "Internet addiction" youth and society.
