An Research On Activities Of Ethnic Unity And Progress In Guiyang City

The creation process of national unity is not only an activity but also a kind of values.It is beneficial to strengthen and consolidate the national unity,promote the well-being of minority compatriots,maintain the new socialist national relations,strengthen the cohesion of the Chinese ethnic and casting the consciousness of the Chinese ethnic community.It is the most important contents in the current national work.In recent years,The GuiYang city government,centering on the current work topic of common unity and progress and thoroughly implement the party's ethnic theory,policy,laws and regulations,then carry out the activity ‘national Unity Publicity Week' and bring it into government,community,town,school,enterprise,park,camp,religious activity places,scenic spot and so on.It is not only conducive to the further development of the cause of national unity and progress in GuiYang,but also to the further consolidation of the socialist ethnic relations of equality,solidarity mutual assistance and harmony.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part,starting from the reason and significance of the topic selection,summarizes the relevant studies on the theory and practice of the establishment of ethnic unity and progress in China,and selects research methods such as literature research,field research and interview.The second part,starting from the origin of the creation activities of ethnic unity and progress,the author analyzes the current situation of the creation activities of ethnic unity and progress in Guiyang city from three aspects including the main methods of development and the main results.The third part comprehensively analyzes the problems and causes of Guiyang's ethnic unity and progress.Through field investigation,some problems were found,such as weak economic foundation,insufficient ideological understanding,and a certain gap in publicity effect.After that,this paper deeply analyzes the influencing factors of the founding activities of ethnic unity and progress.The fourth part,put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the existing problems.First,develop the economy of ethnic minorities,consolidate their unity and progress,and create a foundation for economic activities.Specifically,it includes seizing the strategic opportunity of rural revitalization,stimulating the endogenous driving force of rural economic development,cultivating characteristic and advantageous industries,boosting the rapid development of urban and rural economy,doing our best to fight against poverty,and consolidating the achievements of urban and rural economic development.Second,we should deepen education on ethnic unity and progress,carrying out the work of establishing ethnic unity and progress in an all-round way.It includes carrying out regular training for ethnic cadres,improving the quality of cadres,strengthening the service of the floating population of ethnic minorities,improving the level of management,guiding the masses of ethnic groups to actively participate in the creation of activities,strengthening their awareness of policies,strengthening the education of ethnic unity and progress in schools,and helping students to establish a correct ethnic outlook.Third,innovate "micro" carriers to highlight the publicity effect on activities of ethnic unity and progress.It is hoped that a series of measures,such as seizing the strategic opportunity of rural revitalization to stimulate the endogenous driving force of rural development,carrying out regular training for ethnic cadres,and creating a "micro" platform for interaction between the cadres and the masses.The fifth part summarizes the thesis.The action of ethnic unity and progress lies in creation,the significance lies in demonstration,and the effect lies in promotion.It is hoped that through the practical research on the creation of ethnic unity and progress in Guiyang city,it can serve as a certain reference for the surrounding areas and other provincial capitals to carry out this activity well.
