| China is a united multi-ethnic country.The interdependence and solidarity of all ethnic groups have laid the foundation and historical foundation for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The Party and the state put forward that the ethnic work in the new era must follow the direction of strengthening the sense of community of the Chinese nation.Since the establishment of ethnic unity and progress,it has been persisting and innovating,covering all aspects of social development.As a multi-ethnic city,Wuzhong City of Ningxia has made many efforts in the establishment of ethnic unity and progress,which has been fully recognized by the Party and the State.It has been named "Demonstration City of National Ethnic Unity and Progress" by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission.Based on the Marxist theory of ethnic unity,this paper focuses on the characteristics of ethnic problems in China,and adopts the methods of interview and direct observation to investigate and study the practice of ethnic unity and progress in Wuzhong City,and conducts empirical analysis from different angles and levels to understand the specific practice of ethnic unity in China.The main content of this paper is divided into five parts: the first part introduces the research background,significance,as well as domestic and foreign research status and methods;The second part discusses the theoretical foundation of ethnic unity and progress between China and foreign countries.The third part expounds the basic situation of Wuzhong City and the development course of ethnic unity and progress.The fourth part analyzes the demonstration models emerging in the establishment of ethnic unity demonstration city in Wuzhong City;The last part,based on the research data,summarizes and analyzes the experience and inspiration of Wuzhong City in building the ethnic demonstration city of ethnic unity and progress from the aspects of "enhancing five identities",innovating and creating activity carriers,building common spiritual homes and promoting high-quality economic development. |
