Research On Cyber Terrorism Activities And Countermeasures

In recent years,the activities of terrorist forces in cyberspace have become more frequent,and the importance of cyber counter-terrorism has become more and more prominent.Cyber terrorism has become a new challenge and new problem facing all countries in the world.Terrorists carried out terrorist activities in the network,which affected social stability and misled the patriotism and national consciousness of the masses.This led to some extreme activities,ethnic conflicts and cybersecurity incidents.The rise of Cyber Terrorism poses a great threat to the national stability and development including political security,economic security,cultural security and social security.As a new type of tactical activity,Cyber Terrorism has the distinctive internet features of concealment,trans-regionality and destructiveness,which is the dualism of internet and terrorism.According to different forms of expression,cyber-terrorism activities can be divided into ool-type cyberterrorism activities and target-type cyber-terrorism activities.Apart from the problems of mentioning above,it prompt the ability of actions for terrorists.However,there are some shortages of lack awareness,unsystematic management as well as poor counter-terrorism information sharing in preventing network of counter-terrorism.On the other hand,cyber counter-terrorism policies making and private rights’ conflicts fighting are incompatible.In view of various factors such as the characteristics,methods,harmfulness and prevention and control dilemma of cyber-terrorism activities,the author believes that the state should focus on the countermeasures against cyber-terrorism activities,and distinguish the key points of prevention and control during the period.Due to the degree of policy.That is to say,it is time to focus on strengthening the prevention and control of tool-type cyber-terrorism activities and guard against the occurrence of targeted cyber-terrorism activities.It is necessary to build defense lines on ideology through measures to increase legal propaganda and raise public awareness of cyber-terrorism activities.It is also necessary to establish a professional network anti-terrorism force,establish an open source intelligence network,implement key network protection and strengthen the network.Regulate a series of measures to improve the control system for cyber terrorism activities,and finally improve cooperation in cyber security prevention and control capabilities through cooperation.
